Neo IP Deadline Board
Everyone: — overdue, — past their respond-by date, — due within 7 days and — due in 7 to 13 days.
Data as of — · AppColl: — (exported —) · Docket: — · Days and colors are counted from that date.
ALERT! AppColl data is out of date.Ask Docketing to load today's AppColl export before relying on this board. Deadlines may have changed since then.
Deadline
Changes here sit on top of AppColl and Docket. The original values stay visible, the counts at the top still include this deadline until AppColl is closed, and every change is recorded with your name.
History
Needs attention
Everything overdue, past its respond-by date, or due in the next 30 days, most urgent first. Statutory deadlines and internal targets are both listed; internal targets are marked. Where AppColl and Docket disagree, the earlier date is used and both are shown. Click a row to see its details. Assigning, notes and marking handled arrive in the next stage.

All open deadlines
Every open deadline for every US client from AppColl and the Docket, with the status-report line where a client sends one (DGS, SMT, DTCC). Foreign matters are left out. Search by matter, client, task, person or status text. Click a row to see its details. Assigning, notes and marking handled arrive in the next stage.

Workload by person
Statutory deadlines that are overdue, past respond-by, or due within 30 days, per person. Each deadline counts for everyone assigned to it on Docket and for its AppColl attorney. Click a bar to see that person's list.
Workload by client
Statutory deadlines that are overdue, past respond-by, or due within 30 days, per client. Click a bar to see that client's list.
Added entries
Deadlines and tasks typed in on this board. Every add, edit, check and close is recorded with who did it and when; open an entry to see its history. Entries are kept here for now and are not yet counted in the tiles above. Nothing from Docket.xlsx has been imported. The person and client filters above apply.
Changes made on the board to existing deadlines
Assignments, notes and handled marks set on top of AppColl and Docket. Ones that need a look are listed first: a deadline marked handled that AppColl still shows open after 7 days, or a change whose deadline can no longer be found (the Docket row may have moved).

US matters with no USPTO update recorded
These matters have open AppColl tasks but AppColl has never recorded an update from the USPTO for them. If they are not linked to the USPTO feed, new office actions will not create deadlines automatically. Review the link in AppColl.

How the flags work
- Overdue: the final date (the last day with extensions) has passed. Check right away whether it was handled and the task just wasn't closed.
- Past respond-by: an extendable deadline whose respond-by date has passed. Extension fees are accruing until the final date.
- ALERT! Due today or tomorrow: any deadline, statutory or an internal or client target, due today or tomorrow, counted from the data's date. They are highlighted in yellow in every list, and the yellow box at the top opens just those.
- Red: due within 7 days. Amber: due in 7 to 13 days.
- The earlier date wins. When AppColl and Docket give different dates for the same deadline, the earlier one sets the flag, and the item is listed under Data checks.
- Maintenance fees are flagged on the due date (end of the 6-month window without surcharge). The window-open and final dates are kept with each fee.
- Internal targets (Docket soft targets, drafts, follow-ups) are listed but never counted as overdue statutory deadlines. A passed target shows as "Target passed".
- No action per client and Done per Docket come from Docket's Status column and are kept out of the counts. They stay in the full list so nothing disappears.
- Clients: every US client. Status-report lines are added only for DGS (4237), SMT (4270) and DTCC (4534). Foreign matters (EP, AU, CN and other country filings) are left out; PCT matters are included.
- Client status reports add each matter's title, application number and reported status. A report date that matches nothing in AppColl or Docket, or a report that says filed or paid while AppColl is still open, shows up under Data checks. Report notes never clear a deadline on their own.
- The count tiles at the top open the list behind each number.
- Added entries are typed in on this board by editors. Every change is logged with the person and time, a statutory date needs a second person to check it, and entries are closed rather than deleted.
